What is User Experience?
The experience here doesn’t mean how much experienced you are whether it be in a Job or using some application.
Here, It simply means that “whatever we do, we have some experience attached to it”, eating Ice-cream (feels relaxed), favorite food (tastes good), playing games (enjoyment), etc.
UXP (Product)
How a person, the user, feels about interacting with, or experiencing, a product.
Product is good service or feature (Video controlled, Potato chips, apps, website, etc.)
Any product that has Good UX is:
- usable
- equitable
- enjoyable
- useful
UXD (Designers)
Interaction Designers
- Focus on designing the experience of a product and how it functions
Visual Designers
- Focus on how the product or technology looks
Motion Designers
- Think about what it feels like for a user to move through a product
Graphic Designers
- Create visuals that tell a story or message
Production Designers
- Make sure the first and final design matches in the finished product materials and that the assets are ready to be handed off to the engineering team
UXF (Fields)
UX Researchers
- Conduct studies or interviews that help us learn how people use a product
UX Writers
- Think about how to make the language within a product clearer
UX Engineers
- Translate the design’s intent into a functioning experience
UX Program managers
- Ensure clear and timely communications so that the process of building a useful product moves smoothly from start to finish
